Hello everyone,

Well hopefully the warm weather is here to stay, at least until fall. With the warm sun getting hotter every day, it is a great time to get outside and start enjoying the wonders of Minnesota outdoors. And what better way to enjoy the great outdoors than with great people at an Outwoods event.

There are several great events coming up this year, so get out there and have fun camping, canoeing, hiking, biking, or just being outside. There continues to be improvements and additions to the website, thanks to Bryan and Steve. They have worked hard to improve the website and add new features. Check out the new “Places” links. This link has pictures from places that Outwoods events have been. It is a great way to relive memories of past events and also to see where people have had Outwoods events in the past. If you want to schedule an event, that too could make it on the “Places” page.

With the warmer weather upon us, everyone’s schedules are fillling up, so check out all the fun events in the newsletter or on the web and come out and have some fun. The Aids walk is this month along with the first of the camping trips to beautiful Sakatah State Park. This is a great park with bike path, hiking, lakes and views.

Pride is just around the corner. Keep in mind that we are always looking for volunteers for the Outwoods booth at Pride. It’s a good way to meet new people who are interested in Outwoods.
